``O, brother, where art thou?``

Men's Ministry

These events are for the men of the church to build community, bring challenge and empowerment in Christ. Life for so many of us is busy with schedules, work, family, relationships, commitments and deadlines. #O’BRO is where iron-sharpens-iron, where accountability, friendship and support can be gained. It’s informal, easy going and designed for men! Spread the word, invite others and get connected.

Women's Ministry

We have several women’s home groups and Bible studies connected to HTC that aim to inspire, empower and engage you as a woman who seeks to grow and learn in the Lord. Whatever your God given dreams and whatever the direction you are called to as a woman it is important that you know that you are supported at HTC. If your season is singleness, early married, motherhood or empty nesters, then P/31 is designed for you.

Join in the day-time Bible Study at the church on Wednesday mornings, from 10 AM – 11.30 AM. Or, try out one of our evening groups for women on a Monday or Wednesday.

Home Groups

Relationships are right at the heart of HTC: our relationships with God, and with one another.  There are Home Groups running in McLean, Bethesda, Vienna, Arlington and Reston. Ordinarily the time together would include relaxed conversation with snacks or dinner, a Bible focused discussion and a chance to ask for prayer.

If you are interested in attending a home group please email one of our Assistant Pastor who is in charge of home groups, Alex Walker alex@htc.us.

Family Life Courses

We want to invite the wider community to events and courses that promote relationships founded in good values with a faithful, intentional love at their core. We run a series of these courses that focus on insightful and practical tips to facilitate family life of all kinds. There is a spiritual foundation to each course but there is no faith requirement to attend, everyone is welcome.

Nice to meet you!

As a church we want to seize every opportunity to host and serve our community. This takes an army of volunteers who aim to welcome in a Christ like manner, this is an easy place to join in and get to know people in the church.

There is a great excitement about all that God wants to do in and through the people of HTC. We believe that as we worship God, we learn more of his heart and are transformed by his Spirit to live lives that bring greater honor to him.

The worship team count it a great privilege to serve and lead the church in worship. They meet monthly for worship and production team gatherings to connect, learn, pray & wait upon the Lord.

Prayer is essential to HTC… Anyone can pray with one of the prayer ministry and pastoral staff after each service.  At HTC we also have regular times when we get together to pray into all aspects of the church: on Sunday (9AM) and at the Haith House on Thursdays (8:30AM) all are most welcome to attend.

Email Will at will@htc.us to be added to HTC’s prayer list email so that you can pray into the needs within the church family. Or email to let us know how we can support you in prayer.

Media and production is the main way that we reach beyond our own church. With the regular sermon recordings, messages and alpha content we reach far a field and enjoy being a blessing to the broader church across the denominations. Get involved, serve on a Sunday and be part of the team that is reaching around the world.
