HTC Operations Administrator (Join Our Team)

  • Schedule: Sunday-Thursday
  • Job Type: Full-Time, 32-40 hours week

COVID-19 considerations: during the COVID-19 pandemic, all tasks will be assigned remotely. There will be minimal need to come to the church.

About this role:

An integral part of our Operations Team, the Operations Administrator supports HTC’s Operations Director and works with HTC Staff and Volunteers to promote and facilitate well-coordinated, collaborative teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create welcoming atmosphere through telephone, email, and personal contact
  • Responsible for keeping office organized and neat
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, repairs, leases, and contracts
  • Manage process for receiving and distributing mail and deliveries
  • Support maintenance and accuracy of church database
  • Assist with calendar management and scheduling
  • Assist with procurement needs
  • Assist with maintaining accuracy of website content 
  • Organization of important documents and files
  • Provide updates and relevant information of current events
  • Assist with travel bookings
  • Assist Senior Pastor with receipts and reimbursements
  • Run errands offsite as needed
  • Other administrative duties as assigned
  • Regularly review and evaluate policies and procedures
  • Support planning and execution of events
  • Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers
  • Be a part of the Sunday Services team and church wide events
  • Participate in team meetings

Position Requirements:

  • 1-3 years administrative experience
  • High school diploma or Associates degree
  • Strong organizational and coordinating skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Detail oriented with ability to add structure and process
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Be flexible due to the nature of the role
  • Must pass criminal background check
